Documents for Public Education - "What to do and expect when pulled over by the Police"

The article "What to do and expect when pulled over by the police" is the result of a collaborative project by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA), the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE).  The NYSACOP Traffic Safety Committee supports this project and wants to share the information with our members.  The points discussed are helpful in educating/informing the public and can also be used as talking points when questioned on the topic of traffic stops.  Please distribute the documents widely in your jurisdictions, with your personnel, via social media, police station / community displays, etc.  As always, if there are any comments and/or questions, please contact us at [email protected].  To access these important documents described above, CLICK HERE.
